What this portal is

The Dipolio Portal is a private learning service operated by Dipolio Education. Students interact with AI tutors designed and supervised by Dipolio. The tutors use Anthropic’s Claude API; they are not human mentors.

Information we use

The portal stores account details, learning information such as grade, school and target test, Dipolio’s learning-context notes, conversations, safety reports, and message/token usage. Each AI request may send the student’s name, learning profile, relevant Dipolio notes, and recent conversation messages to Anthropic so a response can be generated.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide personalized tutoring, maintain conversation history, enforce usage limits, support students, investigate reported responses, and protect the service. Authorized Dipolio administrators can review conversations and safety reports.

Anthropic

Anthropic processes prompts and responses for Dipolio. Anthropic states that commercial API inputs and outputs are not used to train its generative models unless the customer explicitly opts in. Its standard API retention is generally up to 30 days, with exceptions for legal, security, and Usage Policy enforcement purposes.

Retention and student choice

Dipolio retains portal records while the student account is active. A student or parent/guardian may ask Dipolio to correct profile information, provide a copy of portal information, close the account, or delete associated portal records. Limited information may be retained where required by law or needed to address a safety or security incident.

Student conversations will not be reused to train or improve a commercial AI agent unless Dipolio first provides a separate explanation and obtains any consent required for that additional purpose.
