Using your AI tutor safely
It is AI, not a person
Dipolio’s tutors use Anthropic’s Claude AI. They can explain, ask questions and help you practise, but they do not have feelings, personal experiences, or human judgment.
Check important answers
AI can misunderstand a question or confidently give an incorrect answer. Check important facts, test requirements and deadlines with your Dipolio mentor, teacher, official course material, or another trusted source.
Protect your privacy
Do not share passwords, banking details, private account numbers, or your precise location. Only share personal information that is genuinely useful for learning. Dipolio administrators may review conversations to support learning and investigate safety concerns.
Tell a human when something is wrong
Use Report this AI response below a tutor message when it is incorrect, inappropriate, or concerning. Speak directly with your Dipolio mentor, teacher, parent, or guardian when you need human help. Reports are not monitored as an emergency service.
Urgent situations
An AI tutor cannot keep you safe in an emergency. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, stop using the chat, contact a trusted adult immediately, and call local emergency services.
